The Planning Development and Monitoring Department (PD&MD) of Union territory sought support to implement the PM GatiShakti program and ensure the effective operation of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) schemes, requiring a coordinated approach for logistics and DBT systems.
Primus Partners supported PD&MD by establishing a Project Management Unit (PMU) to develop a reliable, competitive, and digitally enabled logistics ecosystem. The PMU coordinated with line ministries and departments, designed a Management Information System (MIS) Visualization Dashboard to track project implementation, and developed a digital architecture for data collection. The team established data centers and collaborated with BISAG-N to create GIS layers for Ladakh, providing training for local officials in managing infrastructure data. Additionally, the PMU facilitated the Network Planning Group (NPG) and Technical Support Unit (TSU) to ensure infrastructure projects were successfully executed. A portal to monitor freight and traffic flows was also created. For DBT, the PMU developed a DBT MIS Visualization Dashboard, tracked scheme implementation, and ensured compliance with Central DBT Mission guidelines.
We successfully established a robust logistics and DBT system in Ladakh, ensuring smooth project implementation, infrastructure development, and adherence to Central DBT guidelines, contributing to the region’s digital and logistical advancement.
