Primus Partners participated in a panel discussion organised by Dr. D. Y. Patil B School in Pune on 27th July 2024, where we explored the Union Budget 2024-25 and our journey towards a Viksit Bharat.
The panellists for the discussion were Mr. Pulkit Goyal (CFO (Honeywell Automation India) & India Controller), Dr. Sadashiv Padhi (Executive Director, C4i4 lab), Mr. Hari Bandhu Patra (CFO, Lentra), Mr. Anup Kiran (Founder and CFO, Xceed Beyond), Mr. Govind Chomal (CFO, Chomal Exports), CA Charudatta Kendhe (Partner VDK & Associates), CA Shivangi Mittal (Income Tax Consultant, Entrepreneur) and Mr. Nikhil Dhaka (Policy Lead, Primus Partners).
Key takeaway from the discussion was the government's strategic emphasis on skills, jobs, and women's empowerment, alongside unlocking the potential of our youth. Significant initiatives such as the establishment of 'plug and play' industrial parks in 100 cities and a plan to provide 1 crore youth with 12-month internships at 500 leading companies are setting the stage for the development of manufacturing clusters, centres of excellence, and increased efficiencies. These measures are crucial for fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
For India to progress into the league of developed nations, it is imperative to leverage our demographic dividend. Prioritizing the development of more urban centres and satellite towns will be essential to support this growth and drive our nation forward.
